Emtone stands as a powerful, non-invasive solution for cellulite reduction, built on a foundation of innovation and trusted expertise. At Precision Aesthetics, we have a deep history with Emtone and BTL, the company behind this advanced technology. In fact, we were involved in testing the very beginnings of acoustic wave technology for BTL over a decade ago, witnessing firsthand the groundbreaking impact it could have on cellulite.
Our Unique Expertise with Emtone and Acoustic Wave Technology
Back in 2010, BTL initially developed acoustic wave therapy for physical therapy, aiming to improve circulation and tissue healing. However, during treatments, patients began noticing a remarkable side effect: their cellulite was diminishing. Seeing this unexpected benefit, Jan Zarsky, then-President of BTL, invited Precision Aesthetics—under the leadership of Dr. Lisa Zdinak and Danielle Braz—to test the acoustic wave machine specifically for cellulite reduction. This collaboration was no accident; Zarsky had first met Dr. Zdinak in 2009 at Europe’s largest anti-aging congress, where she was lecturing on Thermage. Impressed by her expertise, he also entrusted Precision Aesthetics to introduce Exilis to New York, establishing a longstanding relationship with our practice.
Fast forward to 2019, BTL advanced their technology by combining radiofrequency with acoustic wave therapy and reintroduced it as Emtone. Precision Aesthetics was once again called upon to lead, honored as the exclusive facility in New York accredited to train other doctors in the use of Emtone. With over a decade of experience in cellulite treatments, BTL technology, and acoustic wave therapy, no one understands cellulite reduction and Emtone’s transformative capabilities better than Precision Aesthetics.
How Emtone Works
Emtone’s effectiveness lies in its ability to tackle multiple causes of cellulite. Traditional cellulite treatments often address just one aspect, but Emtone’s dual-technology approach is unique. Here’s how it works:
- Radiofrequency heats tissue to therapeutic levels, stimulating collagen production and strengthening elastin fibers. This heat also helps to break down fat cells, reducing the upward pressure that creates the dimpled look on the skin.
- Targeted Pressure Energy (Acoustic Waves) simultaneously delivers acoustic waves that increase circulation, release fibrous bands that cause dimpling, and create micro-vibrations in the tissue. This process enhances the overall smoothness and texture of the skin.
The result? Emtone addresses all the main factors causing cellulite—fibrous bands, fat clusters, and poor skin elasticity—leading to visibly smoother, firmer skin.
Why Emtone is So Effective
Emtone’s unique combination of radiofrequency and acoustic wave technology ensures that multiple layers of skin and connective tissue are treated in one session. Patients typically see improvements in skin texture and cellulite after only a few treatments, often starting to notice a difference within four sessions. This non-surgical approach delivers results without downtime, making it ideal for those looking for a quick, effective way to reduce cellulite.
Our history with BTL and acoustic wave technology gives us an unmatched level of expertise in cellulite reduction. We’re proud to be the first in New York to introduce Emtone and to share our years of experience with both our clients and the medical community. With Emtone, Precision Aesthetics offers a solution backed by innovation, proven results, and an enduring commitment to excellence in aesthetic care.
